Robbie Carroll is a former professional and youth international-level goalkeeper who has made his mark on soccer in Norway, Sweden, Bulgaria, England, and the US. After an injury sidelined his playing career, he embraced his passion for the game and continued coaching at all levels, from youth recreational soccer to college and professional teams. After taking a break from the head coaching game for several years, he is eager to start his tenure at Sioux Falls Thunder FC. Coach Carroll is determined to bring his knowledge and experience to the team and share his passion for the game with players, fans, and the Sioux Falls community. Originally from Wakefield, England, Robbie and his wife Maren, their 3-year-old son Ole Gunnar and their three dogs Cody, Maggie, and Sushi live in Sioux City, IA.
Victor Naranjo is a lifelong soccer player from Barcelona, Spain. He played for his high school team and, while in college, played for Ace Sansur F.C. in the Catalonian Federation of Soccer. He came to Sioux Falls in 2016 where he has coached both DASC and Soccer Sprouts. Victor currently teaches Kindergarten in the Sioux Falls School District and is the Jefferson High School boys soccer assistant coach.
Originally from Laos, Coach Eddie moved to Sioux City at the age of 2. He is now the women's soccer coach at Western Iowa Tech in the NJCAA. Coach Eddie carries a lot of experience in the Siouxland area, establishing clubs and adult leagues. He also has 15 years of experience coaching at the local high schools.
Haggerty found his passion for soccer at Goshen College in Indiana, where he played for four years and earned an NAIA honorable mention. Haggerty has nineteen years of coaching experience at the high school level. He coached for eight years in Ohio and eleven in South Dakota. He now looks to expand his knowledge of the game to management of the Thunder.
Dan and his wife Heather work at Dan Haggerty Insurance Agency Inc. They have four children, Ryan Brennan, Gavin, and Praba.
